Frank DeLeo loves people! Good thing, too, because early in his career he was Sr. Vice President of a major financial services corporation with more than 1000 employees entrusted to his care. So developing good people skills was a necessity. He has been a mentor to many organizations and received the President of the United States award for community service. Since his calling into the ministry, he has served as a missionary, Bible teacher, and today, is the Sr. Pastor of a thriving church in the mid-cities area. In addition, his skills as a motivational speaker and author will not only help you choose the perfect words for your ceremony but will also assure you that those words will be spoken with eloquence. Frank tells his couples, “When I share your love story during the wedding ceremony, it’s not because I have to say something–it’s because I have something very special to say.”

WHO IS FRANK DELEO?

  • I am married to Dawn and have four grown sons—and yes, she feels outnumbered.
  • My dad was my hero until the day he died at 98. There’s not a day goes by that I don’t hear his voice of encouragement.
  • I’m from New York so my team is the NY Yankees!
  • Golfing, baseball and reading are 3 of my favorite recreational pastimes.
  • I love spending time with my grandchildren and wife.
  • I also love to cook, work in the yard, and play guitar (not necessarily in that order).
  • Pasta and Meatballs is my most favorite food in the whole world—did I mention I was Italian?
  • Apples are my snack of choice—don’t judge, I eat junk food, too.
  • If someone made me move to Kauai, Hawaii, I wouldn’t be too sad.
  • I love both Christian worship music and 60’s and 70’s rock music. How’s that for diversity?
  • 3 of my favorite movies: For Love of the Game, Top Gun, and The Passion of the Christ (in all 3 movies, sacrifice was a theme).
  • I believe that education helps keep the mind young, so I am pursuing my doctorate in ministry.
  • I love the fall. Have you ever spent “Autumn in New York?”
  • The Bible is my favorite book because it’s God’s love letter to us.
  • Best thing anyone has ever said to me: “You can’t change the things that happen to you—you can only change how they affect you.”

Frank not only performed a beautiful ceremony, but was there to guide us in our pre-marital journey as well. We felt as if we had known Frank forever and that he was part of our family.     I am forever grateful Frank DeLeo was chosen as our minister! From my initial phone call with Frank, I knew God had put him in our lives for a reason. He took time to get to know our families as well as our wedding party before the rehearsal. His attitude was laid back and he was extremely knowledgable and professional. He helped us put together our ceremony, then he asked us what tone we wanted during the ceremony. What he did was just right! There was a mixture of laughter and tears.     Initially we were going to have a friend perform our ceremony, but soon realized that it was best to have someone who was experienced as an officiant. Marty at LoveNotes recommended Frank DeLeo because both Frank and my husband were from New York. We hit it off from the moment we said hello. We wanted someone who had a great heart and knew the Word of God. Frank was kind and spiritual and was the perfect officiant for us.     We got married in front of our family and friends and the day was perfect thanks to Frank DeLeo. Since we had been together for 2 years we thought we knew everything about each other. Boy, were we wrong! Pre-marital counseling with Frank was the BEST thing we could have ever done for our relationship. It brought up issues we had never thought about before and made us get to the core of securing what we both wanted for our marriage. Frank is so easy to talk to that my husband (who doesn’t believe in counseling) never hesitated to go meet with him. With Frank’s guidance, our ceremony went off without a hitch. Everyone loved it because “it had a special touch.” Even after the honeymoon, Frank was there for us to help guide and reassure us in our marriage. We couldn’t have chosen anyone better!
