WHO IS JIM ROBERTS?
- After being widowed, God brought me a beautiful lady who has filled my life with love and happiness. We just got married (so I know what you are going through planning a wedding!)
- I am blessed with 3 daughters and 2 of the best sons-in-law I could ask for
- I am Papa to 8 grandkids and now 9 bonus grandkids and love everyone of them
- I love to cook and host small dinner parties where the men are in the kitchen and the women are playing board games
- I am a volunteer at the Dallas Arboretum (which is where I connected with LoveNotes)
- For 45 years, I have played Santa Claus for foster kids from the Ronald McDonald House, and for kids who are in hospitals during Christmas
- My alter ego, Jazzy the Clown, loves bringing joy to all ages (I even won a state championship performance as Jazzy!)
- In later years, my professional life involved being a general sales manager and training other sales managers in a large company. I love coaching others to help them realize their potential
- My favorite place to be is any beach at sunset with my “Bride”
- My desire now is to help couples achieve a level of trust and comfort as we come together to make your wedding ceremony a dream come true!
Ronnie and Mac –
We wanted to something special for our ranch wedding, we kiddingly said we would like to do our ceremony on horseback. Brother Jim was all in and our wish became reality. Thank you Sir for making our day so special! You definitely know what it means to “Cowboy up”

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect officiant for our wedding. Pastor Jim brought such warmth, sincerity, and joy to our ceremony. Every word felt personal and meaningful. It was everything we dreamt of and more.

Our dream wedding was the beach at sunset. What we didn’t expect was how Pastor Jim took a one hour phone call getting to know us and translated our love for each other into that sunset sky and white sand and blue water. There wasn’t a dry eye in the group including the men.
